| Escential Lotions and Oils started in a tiny Portland, Oregon storefront in 1979. The goal was simple: to offer the best quality bath and skin care at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. The opening was a family event, with owner Meg Mann's family building shelves and counters, and Emily, her eight-year old daughter, labeling the first batch of soaps. Escential, now a second-generation independent, woman-owned business, has passed from mother to daughter. |
