&B Jewelry and Loan Company was established in 1948 by Lou Tobin. He had just returned from chasing Hitler around Europe and was ready to settle down and start a family. Although Lou had no formal education, he developed a philosophy "Be fair with your customers, give them bargains and treat them with dignity and they will remain your customers forever." That philosophy is still in place.
