| Today, stormwater management is a complex task. The Drainage Districts not only must keep stormwater from undermining buildings and eroding the soil; they must also address water quality and environmental concerns. To manage stormwater effectively, the Drainage Districts work closely with private landowners, who have invested $13 million in recent years to create 45 water quality facilities feeding into district-managed drainage ways. |
